Programs like Total Commander which require no wifi

    Hey guys i am seeking a program like total commander which requires no wifi to go into my ipot files. Or a program that can change the permission to 755 so i can upload apps onto my ipod. Thanks.

    Thanks is it just open it up plug ur ipod in and bam! or is it like Total Commander where you have to patch it up and stuff. Thanks.

    Winscp requires wifi connection.

    Why not use total commander?

    I would recommend using that before anything else.

    I don't think you can change permissions with total commander.

    No, I'm pretty sure you can.

    If not then just use 'Finder' from installer.

    Well heres my problem, since i dont have wifi at home i cannot download any more apps for my ipot. Im totally fine with the Total Commander but it just cant change the file permission to 755. So i was wondering if there are any others which require no wifi. Btw i saw iphonebrowser somewhere but does that require wifi? Thanks.

    You need the "Secure FTP Connections" plug-in for Total Commander, which basically integrates SCP functionality. Once installed, you access it via the Network neighborhood.
    Simply set up a connection via SSH, and then you select a file and chose "File | Change Attributes...".

    Alternatively, you can use the Commanders command line to type 'chmod 0755 <filename'

    If that doesn't work use this.

    +rep. Thanks soo much Ballinjace. Can you please teach me how to use the Finder? Am i suppose to upload it into my ipod or what?
