    hi,
i want to write programs for my ipod without using a mac, in C and Java, so i have some questions:
    - how can i transfer own programs into the ipod? is there any cable solution or must i use WLAN?
    - is there a way to install a Java VM?
    - which non-apple toolchain do i need? i think GCC-ARM, right?

    thanks in advance
