I'm having wifi problems, but I'd like to access the file structure of my ipod just as I would be able to using SHH. Does anyone know of a program for a Mac (10.4) that does this? I've seen iphonedrive, but, unless i missed something, it didn't give me the access I need. Specifically, I'm interested in putting wikipedia on my ipod (http://haukap.net/)

Congrats on the 100th post. I'm sorry that such a milestone had to be wasted since you didn't provide an answer. Instead of patronizing me for not searching, which I did, you should read my post carefully. I said I was having wifi problems. (http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28007) I'm well aware of that method, and have tried implementing it. Instead, I'm looking for a different way to access the files. I know there has to be a way to access them, but all of the googling I've done has not helped. It's not a lack of effort, but a lack of the proper keywords.

Yeah. That's the whole point. If you're having Wi-Fi troubles, than I assume that it doesn't work, so I found a way to access the file system without SSH (thus no Wi-Fi). And you never stated that that method didn't work (the one I had posted). Had you done that, I would've been able to help you. Not to mention, am I supposed to mysteriously find this post that states your colledge has crappy dorm Wi-Fi?

Anyway, there are several other methods. Let me search and find them for you.

Ok, please just stop trying to help. You need to research a method before you implement it (or worse, suggest it to someone else). If you don't know an answer, you don't have to respond.

I use Iphonebrowser. http://code.google.com/p/iphonebrowser/downloads/list It's a little weird and i dont think you can rename , but you can drag n drop files into the ipod/iphone, and delete from the ipod/iphone.

EDIT: i think its only for windows, sorry for the bad info!
