Program for editing PNG files?

    does anyone know a good (free) program i can download to edit PNG files?

    The GIMP is a very powerful free opensource image editing program. It can open almost any image file, and can save to an equal amount of file extensions.

    If not, then I'll just post the list that I did in the first reply to this thread, but edited out:
    -Paint
    -GIMP
    -Paintshop Pro
    -Adobe Photoshop (trial if not willing to get illegally).

    there isn't one out for the iphone/ipod touch, but if you are talking about computer use the ones above

    If you're going to go with the gimp, get gimpshop, it's more user-friendly.

    Well you could add the png to your photo library through the computer then edit it in sketches. You can only add lines and circles and stuff like that, but technically thats still editing

    I use ArtIcons Pro, it was really cheap. but seeing as you don't want to pay they have a 30 day trial version, which shuld last you a long time. And when your 30 days are up just uninstall and reinstall for anotehr 30 days.
