    Just restore.

I feel like I'm overusing it, so I'm in the planning stages of designing a new one

Speaker problem as in it thinks there are headphones plugged in when there are not?

If so easy fix. Take a Qtip put a very little drop of alcohol on the tip and stick it in the headphone jack twist it around and get all the dust and dirt out and it should work.

It happens with my 1st gen iphone every now and then.

The phone only has one speaker.... The other side is the microphone..
