I have the original I pod touch. I recently put new music on it from the computer i always use. When i went on my ipod the apps will not work. When i open an app the menu will pop up for about 5 seconds then close down. Any ideas of what to do?

You could try DFU and restore to fix any filesystem problems.

    BTW, Are you jailbroken?

    I would think to try:

    A) Remove every thing off of the device via iTunes and resync

    OR

    B)DFU Restore

Then again you might as well restore as you are losing everything anyway unless you can fin something else that works by messing around.

Either take off and put back on a specific app.... or...

Have you rebooted your ipod recently?? Hold the top and home buttons together for about 6-10 seconds till you get a slider.. then power off.

Then hold the top button for a few seconds until the apple comes back on and reboots your device.

That usually fixes most stubborn app closures.
