I have just updated to 4.0 and jailbroke my ipodtouch last night. I was trying to add my old sources to cydia when I kept getting a error "Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)" after which cydia stops responging and I must end the process. I did not have cydia fully updated so I tried updating them and got error code 2. When I then went to sources I had lost the bigboss repo.

    1) What is the bigboss repo
    2) Can anyone help me? Or do I need to restore and re jb? (sigh)

    Don't install rock. Try rejailbreaking.

Worst suggestion ever. Do this if you want to make the problem even worse.

The only sure bet would be to rejailbreak. There could be a way to fix it but it would probably be more time consuming than simple restore would be, so you should just take the route you know will work.
