I plugged in my ipod touch 2 gen, upgraded to 3.0, and everything went smoothly. However, after a while, I started to work out how to setup notifications. I trawled through settings for ages trying to find it, but, nothing. I though I was going mad. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that something must have been wrong, so I restored it and tried again. Again, nothing. I have restored numerous times, and still I have this pretty major problem.

    Any ideas?

(The enclosed photo should explain what I mean)

    Thanks

You have to download an app that uses notifications so that the settings can come up.

Dohh. It seems the settings screens I was looking at was from an iPhone, and it seems there is no way to control the notifications on the ipod touch. Therefore, it is probably just me. However, the settings screen still looks a bit iffy to me. Oh well, sorry for wasting your time.
