I bought the 2G Ipod with the 2.2.1 and it was already jailbroken, then, I updated my gadget to the 3.0 with a downloaded firmware, but now, I can't jailbreak this Ipod, I already tried with redsn0w, the full process is complete but when I pick the iPod, Cydia is not there.

Somebody knows how can I fix this or can I downgrade my firmware to the old one whitout jailbreak, because I think is easier to jailbreak an 2.2.1, so?

    Heeelp. :/

Ughm.. are you using the right redsn0w.

Use redsn0w 0.7.1, and explain your question more better or post in the spanish section.

In iTunes, plug in your iPod, then wait for the iPod infomation to come up, now you should see a "Restore" button. After the process re-jailbreak

I already tried the 0.8, 0.7.1 and other versions, but the problem is the same.

I can make all the process, but when a restart my iPod after uses the redsn0w, the Cydia is not there. Understand it? D:

I restored all the times before try the redsn0w. Now, for example, it's restored again. By iTunes.

Also have you checked that it's not on the next page, on the iPod. I mean swiping left on the home screen, and checking it's not there?

A full restore of the firmware?

    If it's that, yeah.
