So I recently had to downgrade and restore back to 1.1.1 after a crash and restore to 1.1.2

for some reason, now I cant FTP back into the iPod touch. I'm using WS_FTP (IP + "Root" and "Alpine") but for some damn reason, I cannot get in. Before when I was on 1.1.1, it worked fine, easily managed to connect. Now after a crash, restore, downgrade....it won't connect.

Any ideas? I noticed there were no longer any stickied threads for the "non-ftp" method of trying to add iphone apps, so I'm guessing it cannot be done if you cant ftp into the Touch?

Make sure SSH is turned on too... if you're not sure, go to the SSH app (if you have it installed) or install Services.app to control if it's on/off...

I had the same problem. I resolved it by re-downloading the BSD Subsystem from Installer and then turning SSH back on. Give that a try.

i had this problem before, and yes ; resetting your iphone/ipod touch causes it.
i forgot how to fix it tho , it was realy simple!
