I've been trying to flash the firmware I created with Pwnagetool. It will always say that it can't be restored and it stays on the connect to itunes logo on the ipt.

What am I doing wrong? I've tried 5 times already.

You're talking about when you're trying to alt-click restore in iTunes, right?

If you've done several restores in a row, iTunes will freak out and give you an error message. Restart your computer and you Touch and you should be fine. If that doesn't work, manually put your Touch into restore mode and then Restore with your custom FW

Yes, I am trying to alt-click in iTunes. I will try to restart my computer to see if that'll work.

Also, yes, the custom firmware is 1.1.4 and it was built using the pwnagetool.

Ok, so you pwnd it so the pineapple start logo is on there right? Then you take the 1.1.4 firmware and build a firmware called iPod1,1_1.1.4_4A102_C****m_Restore and then you put the ipod into restore mode and option-click restore and then select the firmware?

It's still not working. Do I have to have a clean ipod before using pwnagetool? I originally had nate's 1.1.3.

I think his problem is that iTunes isn't letting him restore. Not that he didn't make the firmware correctly.
