So I decided to jailbreak my new ipod and now I'm not too happy. I downgraded to 1.1.4 and downgraded itunes. Went through the whole process and I have major problems with freezing. My ipod freezed all the time. Wether its typing a note or installing something or playing a game. What's the issue? I'm not sure that always forcing reboot is a good idea for the ipod. I'm thinking of upgrading to 2.0 and breaking that or 1.1.5 and breaking it. I read that the higher ones were more stable. Will this help or what?

I don't want to not be able to jailbreak it. 2.0 isn't all free correct? So why is it better to switch to it?

2.0 has the app store, and yes 2.0.2 and other 2.0 and above firmwares are able to be jailbroken

so is the 2.0 firmware ok to jailbreak now? I was looking at stuff that says breaking 2.0 isn't a great idea. I also see it's ok. So now I'm confused.
