    Hey,

I'm going away for 2 weeks and a couple days. And I'm leaving my phone at home, but I got a problem! I don't wanna turn it off, or let it die because I usually only got one bar, or flat line, and E... And it's hard to get that, I have dead zones all over my house and when I lose signal it takes forever to get the messages after.

    Anyway,

Could I leave my phone plugged in, and on, would that hurt it at all??

    It's a iPhone 3G!

it shouldn't over heat when plugged in, the battery should automatically stop charging once at 98-100. so i think yer safe.

Alright, thanks guys! I didn't want it to spark up, over-heat, or kill the battery or anything like that

It costs $45 as soon as I cross the border, then a crazy fee for each and every text message I receive. I have over 400 contacts, I send over 20,000 texts a month and receive over 35,000... My bill would be nuts, and I'm 16, don't have that money and my family would rather not be stuck into paying that too.

    Plus internet fee's.

And as many of you say, don't use it, you know that you go and use it "oh one facebook check" and then yo do that so many times and bam! huge phone bill
