Ok, my iPod won't go past the apple logo screen. Whenever I turn it on, it just stays on the logo and nothing more. Then, after a while, the battery runs out. What should I do?

Before, all I did was update my apps (I had 22 that needed updating). Then I clicked on a app, which froze the iPod. Then I turned it off (both butons for 10 secs etc.) and now it won't work.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Btw, it is not jailbroken.

    DFU Restore.
    Plug into a computer.
Hold the Sleep and home button for ten seconds
Then the home button alone for ten seconds
