    Hi,
I just fully restored my itouch and jailbroke it.
I used the boss tools and moved apps without any problems. The I installed the download plugin.
Before (the restoration) the plugin worked even when I pushed the upper button to turn the screen off. Now after 30 secs from turning the screen off the download fails. What the heck?
    Thanks.

    wifi antena turns off

I think my problem is that wifi antena turns off and it has nothing to do with the plugin. Any ideas?

You don't change the name of the folder to 777,
what is meant is to change the permissions of the folder,
you can do this by running the command

    Code:
    "chmod -R 777 downloads"

    from ssh or MobileTerminal

Also...that post is regarding [PIRACY]us, unless [PIRACY]us uses the Safari Download Plugin, that's not relevant at all...

Without using these codes I found a way to change it to get it working.
First download iFile from Cydia, Icy or Rock App
Second check to see if the downloads folder is in var/mobile/
Third if it is there delete it if not then this is not the problem.
Fourth go to var/mobile/library click edit in the top right corner
click the plus button at the bottom of your screen and in the new interface call the file Downloads, and change the file type to directory.
This works because the plugin downloads to var/mobile/library/Downloads not in var/mobile as it appears in 3.1.3
