    Do you hold shift-restore?

plain and simple.. don't use quick freedom. go back to a default 2.2.1 FW, and then use redsn0w... much faster.. much easaier. nothnig against quickfreedom. its a great piece of software, but redsn0w is a million times more stable, reliable and faster than quickfreedom. With Redsn0w, you don't even need to restore. just plug in and go. DFU of course... but plug in a go.

Yea use redsn0w 0.3. Its a 5 min jailbreak and you don't lose any information.
