Are you transferring a ROM or a game (application)?

Place the folder into /Applications and set permissions to 755.

First of all, the game must be unzipped. If there are specific instructions for this game, follow them. The ".app" folder should go in /Applications.

First of all, you want to unzip the folder, THEN proceed with placing it in the Applications folder, and setting permissions to 755. This should work if your doing it properly. Next, just restart your iPod touch and it should work.
