problem with my 2gen I pod touch volume , please help

    I have a second geereation 8gb i touch , for past few days its volumeis automatically getting reduced to zero when i hear songs or when using any application . i can see the volume lable in the home screen always

    Is there any way i can do something to this


    Have any oneofyou faced the same problem

    like the external speaker arent working?

    no no the speakers are working
    But if i keep my volume to maximum it suddenly reduces to zero as if we are pressing the volume reduction button continuously .

    Try restoring it, if that doesn't correct it contact Apple and get yourself a newie.

    bought this at US - San antanio from an apple store, and i at india now will beable to claim warrenty in india

    If it's under 12 months the warranty is world wide.

    If you bought it from apple store, you can take it to any apple store in the world for warranty repair/replacement.
