    Hey

I've bought a microphone for the ipod, and it works great, but the iPod recognises the microphone as a headphone, so when i record something on the iPod with the dictaphone, I first got to get the microphone out of the iPod to listen what I recorded. This isn't really a big problem, but by skype I've got to put it on the speaker before I can hear the other person. Is there some sort of setting wich makes it recognise it as a microphone instead of a headphone?

Sorry for the bad english, I'm dutch

    No, theyres not.

Cause it was originally made for headphone/microphone go-togetheres.
Like hands-free microphone/headphone sets that come with cell phones.

But you ONLY have the microphone.

    But.. you can try this.
    Pick up a headphone splitter.
Plug your microphone in on one side, and your headphones on the other.
    Youre good to go.
