yesterday i cleaned my headphone jack whit a pipe cleaner but since then my ipod does strange things. volume down wont work trough the volume rocker, volume up will lock my device. when i lock my device it will display the power off slider. every 1 min the device will show my lock screen but i don't did anything. I think i bend something in the headphone jack but i'm not sure. I already tried to restart my device but that didn't work.

Did you put water on the pipe cleaner?

    Yup.

Shorted out the down rocker and linked the connections for the up rocker to the sleep button...

Dude. Now, your warrenty is voided, so no replacement 4 u because of water damage.

There is litmus paper in the headphone jack that senses water and turns a different color.

And blowing on it makes it worse, considering the headphone jack is as secure as (trying to) place(ing) a triangle block in a square hole.

    Sorry, but you are screwed.
