    Hi all,

I got a really boring problem, and i tried finding solutions, but nothing came...
So, here is my problem :

First, the SFTP doesn't work anymore, i only get the message "Unable to connect", my ipod is really connected to the wifi and do respond to pings. The password is the right one (alpine, didnt change it), and it used to work before theses problems...

    Command : open "root@192.168.0.6" 22
Error : Server unexpectedly closed network connection

The other problem is that now, from the installer, when i try installing something, when the progress bar is done with downloading and is at the "installing" step, it goes back to the board, without any changes. I tried with a lot of apps, still the same prob'.

If you have any ideas, it would help

    Thanks

Check your iPods IP, which is supposed to be 192.168.0.6. If it's different this could be the problem. Just change the IP in your SFTP.

sounds like your JB did not work according to plan.. you may want to retore and try again

Also sometimes you need to open Safari on the ipod and browse thru are few webpages to get the connection to work.. I find this is the case when I am using remote connection services

Check net services... Download net services, I am not sure what repo... Search it and then check in your services to see if SSH is turned on...

Is the IP 192.168.0.6? For sure? When I got a new router and put it before my other router, my IP was changed to 192.168.100.6. Then ssh no longer worked, so that may be the problem.
