Problem on using fring via my school provided Wifi

    Yeah thats the problem, i need to run though a proxy before i can go on wifi, i know this probably wont work are there anyway to let Fring run on the proxy wifi?

    Fringing hell.... just bought the mic adapter on Ebay and find out this crappy school wireless wont let me go on Fring....

    Well the school wireless are set that you can only go on it via proxy, it prevents people from going on online games and downloading stuff....

    Dont really see the point they block facebook though....

    Luckily in our school, our computer faculty never even thought of using proxy. We are so lucky.

    If ur smart enough set up a PC with two NIC's; linux or windows and run some transparent proxy software on it and attach your own AP to the trust side of it.

    One leg (WAN) in the schools core network and the other leg (LAN) on ur private side with an AP giving u WLAN.
