    Hi,

I have my iPod Touch 16Gb with Jailbroken 1.1.2 firmware installed, however when I try to install BSD Subsystem, it just gets halfway through installing and goes back to the "Slide To Unlock" Screen?

Any ideas what could be up?

    Thanks

    Stu

try downgrading again then get oktoprep then update again. Sometimes if you try something again, it works.

Don't really want to do that, as I have just finished updating my music library, and dont want to have it deleted, any other ideas?

    Thanks

no no! updating doesn't even touch any of that stuff! only restores will wipe out everything! it only replaces the software you have.

But when I downgraded my firmware to 1.1.1 it wiped my music library!?

Is there a certain way I can get back to 1.1.1 without wiping it?

are you sure you didn't "restore" to 1.1.1? you should be Shift + clicking on the check for update button then selecting the 1.1.1 restore file. This shouldn't wipe out any music.

    hi

Hello, I am not sure if this will help, though it did help me

I had same problem so I turned auto-lock off, then it finished installing

I'm still suspecting that this has something to do with the 1.1.2 release, perhaps bsd system is not compatible with it.

    bsd works fine with 1.1.2.
    I am using it.

Not sure why you are having trouble. Did you install any other apps before it that need it to work? If you did you may want to uninstall them and bsd and start with bsd first.

Well I managed to get it to work, it seemed to not like having Summerboard installed for some reason?

    Thanks for your help.
