I have a 16G ipod touch, I think that it's a 2nd gen. It will find my home wifi, but when I put in my access code for the wifi it will not connect and it says its unable to join the network.
Is there a way to manually input the wifi info? Settings will not let me input the IP address? Or is there a way to get around the password? I am clueless with this kind of stuff, any help would be greatly appreciated.

turn off your wireless router wait 10-15 seconds and turn it back on. happens to mine every once in awhile, just needs a reboot

Yeah, it happens to me also. But if the iPod is connecting properly to the router and you aren't getting the internet itself, just reset your modem... The process is the same.
