I don't think printing from the iPad has been considered.

I wonder if this will be a feature that Apple puts on it. This could make or break whether I buy it or not.

What good is Pages and Numbers if it doesn't have a printing option. You would have to sync back to computer, then print. Too much hassle.

There also is an option of hooking it right up to the adapter via Dock Connecter.

    What do you guys think?

That's true, bluetooth printing. Perhaps sending a signal via bluetooth to the Mac (which the printer is hooked up to), telling it to print.

Thats actually a good idea. An app for your iPad that passes on print jobs to a BT connected laptop and then to a connected printer. Upside is that this will work on the iTouch and iPhone as well. You know what, forget bluetooth, make it networked, and I can print from my iTouch anywhere with a wifi signal.

LOL, that would make much more sense. I don't know why I said bluetooth. I was missing the obvious.

I use printing over wifi from my laptop, I don't see why an app that does that for the iPad can't be made. It can be done from the iPhone and iPod currently, but that uses software on your pc and is quite clunky.

Forgot the name of the app that does that though..

Printing over WiFi is probably available. If not, emailing to a computer that can print isn't out of the question.

True, but more of a hassle.

Most printers can be connected to your LAN. If the iPad can see and print to networked printers over wifi, it would earn it some much needed brownie points.

Hopefully a built-in feature with Pages, Numbers, etc...
