prevent the back from scratching with no case

    ok if u are worried about the back scratching then just take a piece of saran wrap a little smaller then the back of the ipod touch, then just stick it on and stretch it to the sides and it should just stay there, this has no effect whatsoever on the camera or the buttons and mine is still scratch free!

    NOTE: try to extract as much dust as possible from the back of the device before doing this!

    trust me man i was so surprised how good this is working had it for 2 days took it off to replace it and not even 1 scratch, and although there are air bubbles and crinkles the camera is still perfect it has 0 affect on the pics

    sh*t... I already have like 4 scratches on the back of mine, should of told me earlier, I got a clear case now

    lol i already have 3 light scratches on the back of mine and i haven't put in my pocket or dropped it yet

    you're spending $230+ for the touch but don't want to put the $4 towards a protector of some sort if you don't want scratches?

    yeah, this has been well established since original ipod touches. Works well for a temporary measure. Sometimes it can tear a little hole in the middle without you noticing, so just monitor from time to time.
