Prevent Auto Updating?

    I found this out by editing my VersionNumber.plist.

    Check For Update, and my is 8.0.0, i think it will only grab the 1.1.3 update if you just have it set below 1.1.3.

    When you connect your ipod to your computer will itunes start the auto update? im not very good with these things so im very confused and have no idea what to do..can i get some help?

    Will itunes auto update your ipod once you connect it to itunes?

    Yeah, I would like to know this too.

    My battery is starting to enter to red..and I really want to charge it. Will it automatically update, or will it show an update pop-up that I can just ignore?

    lol its not going to auto update. i had my ipod plugged in when i installed itunes, i unplugged it plugged it back in, it synched, then nothing happened. didnt even get asked to update. i clicked check for updates, it check, said 1.1.3 was ready for download/install, i said no, and thats that. still 1.1.2, still jailbroken, still happy lol.

    Thanks mann,, figured that out too.. just took a bit of guts lmfaoo,, after reading about all these people and their problems im just glad i still got 1.1.2,, im sure soon enough 1.1.3 and everything with it will be freee and jailbrokenn

    IT DOES NOT AUTO UPDATE. i just connected my touch to itunes(7.6). it will ask if u want to upgrade. i clicked the box: don't ever ask me this gain. and then clicked cancel. done

    Or install 1.1.3 SvPatch - iTunes thinks it's a 1.1.3 firmware running on your iPod.
