powerpoint?

    hey so ive recently heard that the 2.0 update will have powerpoint? or how exactly will this work?

    No, it doesn't have it, it just allows it to be readable.

    well thats what i wanted to know. How is it going to be readable? like if its in my gmail i can scroll thru and play the powerpoint?

    it will play powerpoint files, but it wont create them or anything like that.

    well still thats perfect for me at school, all id have to do is email it to myself. does it play it legitely liek if i have transitions or music will it play all that?

    It won't play it will only show it, in same way as pdf and word ;>
    Does documents can be opened via web (by safari) or via e-mail (by Mail) also can be oped by other SDK apps if they need

    Yes, Firmware 2.0 supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, which includes PowerPoint.

    You'll be able to view powerpoints, although I don't believe sound will be playable while viewing.

    That is going to be sooo handy for students.

    I won my iPoT about a month ago and I never imagined it would be so useful! Now I'll be able to go over my presentations without waiting 10mins for my tired old lappy to boot up.
