My iPod is not jailbroken i restored it to 2.0.2 firmware a few days ago. I have been having this problem for a while now sometimes the power button works and sometimes it doesnt (not sure why). I've held it down for 30 seconds and it still will not display the power off slider.

    anyone have any ideas?
    or will it be faulty

    1) install an app that lets you turn it off (look on cydia)
    2) restore
    3) if #2 doesnt work, bring it to an apple store.
