*First of all, this is NOT a thread for discussing Open SSH and how to use it!!!*

OK, lets get started... You can change Application Icons through Open SSH by replacing the default application icon with a new application icon that has the same exact name and is a PNG filetype...

If you wish to make a custom icon that will appear on your SpringBoard, it should be 58x58 pixels or in some cases 60x60 pixels, and in rare cases even larger...

First, find the icon you wish to replace... Here is a list of directories>

Second, find your replacement icon (must be .PNG/any size will work, but be warned, it can take up the entire screen!).

Third, rename your replacement icon to the exact same name as the one you are replacing!

Fourth, replace the icon using Open SSH (First, backup and delete the original icon. Then upload the new icon to the corresponding directory)...

Fifth, ReSpring with SBSettings, Mobile Terminal, BossPrefs, or other...

Finally, Enjoy your customized iPod Touch/iPhone even more!

I have posted a couple of MobileSafari Icons and screenshots of what they look like to help get this thread started... Hope you like!

*REMEMBER- Change the icon name before replacing it*

I have been looking around for a reason why I can't open .png FROM the iPod with Gimp. (Icons that I copied over from iPod) My friend has the same problem with Fireworks. Any thoughts?
