    With the impending release of the next iPod touch this fall, what are your expectations? Scratch that, that's already been thought up to a degree that virtually anyone that's read those threads knows exactly what those possibilities are. With all of the hype about the next iPhone going around, the iPod touch gets overshadowed. Maybe it's just me, but I've rarely seen hide nor tail of a concept of the next iPod touch. So, in honor of the iPod touch, that great device that will do exactly what you need it to do without digging too deep in your pocket. This thread is solely dedicated to concepts anyone finds online or simply, or not so simply, makes themselves. If you can't find a photo, or don't know how or can't make one, just post what you think it will look like in words.

    IF there is a fifth gen, it will look exactly the same and have the A5/A5X, 1GB RAM, and an iSight camera.

    No, I believe it will have a slight design change. I doubt they will keep the design the same for 3 years. I bet it will be thinner, same backing, better camera, and everything else you mentioned. 8GB will be bumped back up to $229.99.

    So basically, an iPhone without the phone? yes, interesting.


    My concept: better camera (2.0, maybe 3.2 megs), different design, more ram (3/4's of a gig?), better processer (A5x?), all that will still sporting a sh*tty silver back that gets scratched from even the fluffiest of pillows.

    Bigger screen, 4-5 inches? Same thickness. iPad2 back cover. MORE MORE MORE RAM and storage. iPhone 4s's camera? Or better? And an OS that would make jailbreaking history. Opensoruce perhaps? *lol who am I kidding :))
