    Hey guys,

I've recently been exploring the wonderful world of Post-Rock and Progressive rock, and I'm wondering if any of you guys have some recommendations on some bands I could check out.

    Right now I'm listening to:

    Russian circles
    Red sparowes
    Pink Floyd
    Porcupine tree
    Explosions in the sky

And thats about it so far, so does anyone know of some other good bands to look into?

Spastic Ink. And Animals As Leaders would be considered prog.

If you are also into harder metal (with growling) there's two prog metal bands called Between the Buried and Me and Born of Osiris.

    An Endless Sporadic
    Cloudkicker
    I Am Abomination
    Pelican
    Scale The Summit
    Rosetta

those are all kinda metalish. no screaming other then Rosetta. STS is very proggy, it's BTBAM without vocals, amazing guitar/bass combo make it one of the best chill bands ever.

Kansas was the bomb ... Steve Walsh can't sing anymore, though. John Elefante can though, too bad they got rid of him for the old guy who's drank too much to sing.

I'm turning into a bigger Sigur Rós fan by the day, and I'm not exactly sure what Progressive Rock is (I mean wikipedia/last.fm say Martin Grech is Progressive Rock but idk) so I can't list those.
