Hackintosh is installing OS X on nonapple hardware, so to answer your question yes you can do everything on a hackintosh as you can on a apple computer since it is the same operating system However there might be some hardware incompatability like wifi, sound, or ethernet not working out of the box but they can be easily fixed with kext patches.
Here's a screenshot of my Sony Vaio TZ-150N running OSx86 And yes, you can do anything a Mac can do. Here's another one just for fun
i wish i had a hackintosh, i tried so hard to get one but my computer is uncapable of becoming one, i even checked the wiki and there is nothing about a dell inspiron 531
I'm pretty sure you could manage it. If a really really...really old eMachines can run Leopard I wouldn't doubt your puter being able to.
i bought one for my hackintosh a while back before i got my macbook i got it at best buy for only 40 bucks and it works good
no trust me, ive tried with several i mean like 4-5 different installdisks and none of them worked, i looked into it and there is no reports of a dell inspiron ever having leopard or osx 86 on it. besides the farthest all of those disks ever took me was to finishing the install and then after that when the computer re-starts it gets f***ed up and wont boot into leopard
