but I /think/ this might be a possible fix for the iPhone 4 reception issues.

Turn off bluetooth + wifi completely.

The reason behind this should be simple enough but I'm not sure if people have tried it or not.

If that doesnt work then the next best option if you really really /really/ don't want a bumper would be to coat it with a non-conductive paint but that voids warranty 100% lol.

Wouldn't the next best option be just buying a bumper? Solves the issue without voiding anything

Even if you didn't want one, it makes more sense to get one than to start voiding things.

Although there is always the easy fix, don't hold it that way

What if you need Wifi/bluetooth? I don't have a data plan since school and home have wireless coverage and I don't need to check Facebook on the bus. Also, what if I got a Bluetooth headset, or a Bluetooth keyboard?

We shouldn't need to disable a feature that's shipped with the product just to make the product function.

Turning off bluetooth + wifi doesn't help anyways.

Useless idea since the wifi+BT antenna is indipendent from the GSM / 3G Antena,.

if that is the case why should anyone have to by a case when they don't want to just so the product works the way its meant to.
