Discussion in 'iPod touch 1.1.3 Jailbreak' started by sct_nh, Jan 19, 2008.
anyone wanna try this?
you cant use xlaunch on the ipod touch.
I know but it could be possible to launch something else with the button right?
I think updating firmware removes all apps from the app directory, but it may be possible to make something from a different dir run.
okay, so let's say that the custom home function still remains unchanged after the upgrade, wouldn't the firmware "update" erase all of the 3rd party apps that was in the Applications folder? Thus creating a false link?
im gonna try it. Im currently on 1.1.3 though. if anyone else wants to try go ahead.
i would, but the update erases all 3rd party apps...
Does it really matter now? A jailbreak has been found, so let's just wait until it is released.
this is a damn good idea... its definitely a good lead to follow. earlier someone posted that they still had installer.app on their ipod but not visible, so why not try it?
that could be upto 6 weeks?
um dumb question, where can I get the 1.1.1 ipsw file from?
