Is it possible to use an Ipod Touch as a USB WiFi receiver that would allow you to get internet on your PC if your ipod is logged onto a wireless network and plugged into your PC via USB?

I assume if such a feat was possible that your ipod touch would have to be jailbroken of course.

    Is this possible?

Yes there's a way. Download PdaNet from Cydia.
Look for the instructions in google (i think it goes like this:
download pdanet on ipod, then download the desktop pdanet receiver to your computer, enable the network, make sure your ipod is tethered and the tethered option in pdanet on your ipod is selected, then you will be able to use your wifi connection on your ipod on your computer)instructions for windows only. i think there are other ways not involving tethering and windows. dont know, but im pretty sure PdaNet is the solution to your problem.
