Won't that just give me a fresh install of 2.1 though?

He said "Shift+Restore", when you hold shift and click it, it asks for the location of the ipsw, so just select 2.0.2.

I tried this and I was holding the Shift button all those time but I wasn't asked for the location of any file. It just reverted back to 2.1.

I saw the iPod is in recovery mode you need to restore to use this something like that.

    Hi guys!

yea i upgraded to 2.1 just to check it out... got a bit bored and some *cough*cracked*cough apps wouldnt load..... i had alot of trouble getting back to 2.02, kept getting errors...i have had to get back to 2.0 for anything to load....WELL! its taken about 4 hours but the point is, if it doesnt work try going back to an earlier firmware
