Hey guys, i've been hearing many stories with PSP's, and apparently it's happened to iPod Touch's aswell. I'm not sure, but apparently people have restored, upgraded and downgraded so many times that there system has just gone to complete and utter sh!t... Not sure if it's true, but apparently its been done before.

Anyone have knowledge of this? Possibly some good news on it, keeping me away from a paranoid state of mind.

I don't see how this can be possible. It shouldn't matter how many times you restore/upgrade/downgrade.

The iPod is designed to be unbrickable. Or if not, it was a happy accident

    Dont think... that can happen.

If it did happen, then iTunes effed up the iPod... but im pretty sure it wont...

It getting bricked is not what I really worry about, even though its quite a pain. Just stories of it being messed up to the point where its just... > Useless

    Bricked... that means brick.

Its almost impossible to brick an iPod touch, unless you break it, or delete most of its core files.

    This isn't a sh*tty PSP, it's a device running BSD.
Real big difference there, namely that *NIX rules..
It's not some custom device, it's just an ARM processor and stuff, there isn't even a bootloader, so I don't see this being possible.
