So I got my hackintosh, SDK downloaded, but I can't install on the SDK. It needs to be downloaded onto the actual mac, mine has an 8GB hd, is it possible to install it on an external? Like change something with the external?

You could make a symlink and that would work. I did it with my iTunes library.

If you're trying to install on a netbook, stop.

    It won't be fun.

    No.

You are honestly expecting to try and code on a 10" screen? You are honestly expecting to run Xcode on an Atom processor?

The iPhone Simluator won't even fit on that screen!

Yes, it will work, and I DO plan on using it.

He has a point. It really won't fit on the screen.

    Ugh.

Just install OSx86 on the external and run it from the external. Then you'll be installing Xcode on the external by default.
