I have a 63 character password for wireless. I've tried multiple times, and i'm just fed up with trying.

Is there any alternative than attempting to add the key via the itouch? Is it possible to do it in iTunes, or maybe even ssh?

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

What are you saying? Will the iPod not accept 63 character passwords? Because, if its your home network, couldn't you just shorten the password?

Go to apple, and download the iPhone Configuration Utility (make sure you have Microsoft .NET installed).

Build your wifi profile in there, and then emial it to yourself. Install the profile right out of the mail app.

It's easy, and doesn't involve any jailbreaking or SSH.

I used it to get on my hidden LEAP wireless at work. It's an awesome tool. I even built a profile for one of my warehouse guys who had a Touch. He was connected all day long.

It worked! However, now im having the issue when it comes to keeping the wireless connection "alive"

If i listen to pandora and pause for few minutes, it kicks off the wireless connection and won't automatically reconnect. Also, if it comes out of "sleep" it doesn't automatically connect to this connection either.

The settings are also checked on the ipod to "auto" connect. Is there a setting in the iphone tool that i need to alter as well?

    Thanks for the help!

Im pretty sure that the iPod only auto-connects to visible networks.

So I would think that youd have to go back into Settings after each "awakeining"
