i didnt see a thread on this so ill start one.

anyways, this thread is just about any possible requests for future versions of the gameboy advance emulator, gpSPhone. post what feature you would like to see in a future release, perhaps the author may consider our ideas and implement these later once the emulator runs smoother.

possible suggestions/requests for future releases after the emulator is up to par:

    • full screen
    • landscape support (already requested)
    • wi-fi link (for multiplayer support)
    • save states for on-the-fly saving (IMO it is better than a games' built-in saving feature)
    • being able to tilt the device and it will rotate to which ever position the device is being held (cover flow)
    • possible "pressure pad" d-pad (like in NES)

The controls to be made smaller so the screen can be made bigger, as they take up way to much space.

    That's about it..

    I agree!
I also would like some sort of animation when clicking the button so it looks like its pressed down.
I think this would bring a better felling.

why wouldnt wifi work? it clearly works with the psp (maybe not with an emulator but with other homebrew it does). its just the matter of the author implementing it in the emulator. although i am not saying its easy, it can be done.

im guessing you never heard of snes9k. snes9k (even zsnes) is a perfect example of this, whether a pc is wireless or not. the same applies with the touch. wifi is just a method of connecting to a network, for example. its up to the author to decide which protocal to use for establishing network games (tcp/udp). it will have to be based on the server-client model obviously.

trust me, it can be done.

no, not snes9x, snes9k. its snes9x with kaillera support (online play with multiple users). there are other emulators that have this capability.

    read thoroughly next time.

so why wont wifi on the emulator not work on the ipod touch?

EDIT: a link for your viewing pleasure so you know what i am talking about: http://goebish.free.fr/snes9k/
