Now, I understand this may be a repeated threat -VERY repeated- but I was just thinking the other day how you can go to the Adobe flash website on your iTouch/iPhone, and it will see your iPod as a Macintosh computer. Because its not possible to download files thru safari (you bastards at apple) you cant take the .dmg for installing flash. so, I was thinking, why don't you put flash on a mac computer, then search around for the files (that the flash installer put on the mac) and just copy them to the appropriate directories on your iTouch? I'm pretty confident it would work, due to the fact that it basically the same OS structure (the Mac OS X and... uh.. Itouch OS X). This is a good time for Mac users to step up

It has already been said it is coming. It's only a question of when, and Adobe doesn't even know -- but it's planned. (See here).

Were not discussing flash, were discussing the plausability of his plan to get flash on the touch.

I voted yes because I thought you were asking if it was plausable to get flash on a touch, which it is. I cant see how your idea is plausable at all.

i think its plausible too, but you also have to implement it into safari.
Safari has to know what to do with this "flash information" on the website.
its just like a child, it COULD possible drive a car if you tell him how to^^

Flash would have to be rewritten for the ARM processor that runs Mobile OS X. Flash for Mac runs on PowerPC and Intel processors. And, Flash for Mac is very processor intensive. A minute or two on YouTube, and the fan in my PowerBook kicks on and my lap is on fire. Flash would need a major rewrite to run on Mobile OS X.

No, it's definitely if. What reason does Apple have to add Flash, or even to allow Adobe to add Flash? Apple is selling plenty of devices without Flash. And, Apple sees this as an incentive for web developers to stop relying on Flash, and use QuickTime/Javascript/CSS instead.
