    has anybody tried tricking it into thinking its activated? I remember hearing about people using iBrickr a long time ago. Anybody wanna try it? Please tell me what to do if you get it working. I hate the no service and activation message, but love the iPhone settings and everything added became it thinks its an iPhone.

    I dont think that would work... since it doesnt have Phone service...

    i tried messing around with my N45AP.plist files, and i found something out...

    there's a part in the N45 and M68 that says...

    <telephony>
    <true/>

    When i remove it... it makes it normal like a regular iPod, and it gets rid of the 1.1.3 iPhone apps... and when i put it back in, it has the No Service thing and the apps... so thats the thing it check to see if you have an iPhone or iPod...

    But...

    The thing is, its tricking it into thinking its activated and make it think it has service, not actully give it service.
