possible different camera qualities: read for more info

    Ok. So I have my 2nd ipod touch 4th generation and the camera seems a lot worse that my original ipod touchs 4th generation. Is this Possible?

    I am going to restore to see if this fixes anything

    Show us pictures from both devices. Try taking pics at the same position, same location, etc. Make them identical.

    I will upload pics, but i cant take the same pic because my original one is at apple.

    Difference in quality can depend on a lot of things.

    Were you using the rear camera for both?
    Was the back cleaned?
    Was there dust in the camera?
    Were you in a foggy / humid environment?
    Hand motion can cause blur. Maybe you were shaking a little.

    Also the lighting mine works a lot better when it's brighter (like outside)!

    Maybe they are the same. but it seems worse on my new ipod touch 4
    either way, look how bad the pictures come out.

    They're the same lol. That's the quality you get with the iPod touch.

    Did you zoom in? It looks pretty dark. When it's dark the pictures are horrible.

    It's not dark at all. Must be your monitor, you need to calibrate that

    Notice the window, it's broad daylight. Plus there are parts in the photo that is overexposed, signaling lots of light..as in, an absence of darkness.
