    here's my thought:
If we could make a custom firmware and replace the apple symbol with a jailbreak tiff, then every time we boot, we would re-jailbreak the iPod touch.

As i am not good at coding stuff like that, I would need someone else to make it. Would it work???

just replacing that image would do nothing... you need to actaully reupload the bootloader everytime

Well I got the firmware decryPted(excuse my typing not good on my ipt) .....I got the 200mb DMg file decrypted using vfdecrypt....it decrypts beautifully when given the key....but I just can't mount it...some error comes up on mac....I'm using a virtual pc image of mac on windows....if u remember the 2.x decryption....in terminal it would process the file while decrypting and give some 0s with blobs and stuff and say done at the end...that's what I did but I can't seem to mount it
