    Hi there!

Do you think it is possible to copy the vpn management of 3.0 firmware to 2.2.1 ?
I must admit I really don't need any other features of the beta firmware at the moment, but the vpn + proxy settings!
They are missing in 2.x firmware and I really need the proxy tab to connect to the internet at my university.

I just don't know where exactly all files regarding vpn are located in the firmware, I just parsed through the files via sftp, but maybe someone knows more about it?

    thanks in advance,
    helio.

Did you try using the iPhone Configuration Utility? Download it from Apple, configure it on your computer for your VPN, upload the profile to your device (via email), and you are set.

Not enough people know about this tool. It rocks. You can configure Exchange accounts and set up advanced wifi networks as well.
