I've tried searching around these forums and Google but I haven't found an answer yet. Maybe you can shed some light.

Has anyone heard of any keyboard attachments for the Touch? I find myself using the Notes.app and Mail.app often at college. Since I don't have a laptop I keep thinking it would be so handy to have a small keyboard attachment that folds out into full QWERTY kinda like this one : http://www.igo.com/product.asp?sku=2524884

I figured Bluetooth is out of the question, but maybe some sort of WiFi link can be made with a "Server" on the Touch and a "Client" on the keyboard. Or could someone modify a USB keyboard to plug into the bottom of the Touch.

So any ideas? If this exists could you point me to it? Thank you!

As far as I know, nothing like what you're describing exists. I think that the only way that this could really work would be through USB, wi- fi would just be too impractical.

I have also been looking for something like this. Like Danls92 said wifi would be impractical, maybe you could have a dock on the actual keyboard that the ipod plugs into, I would buy that in a second.

i see those things that you are talking about all the time. they are called laptops. they have a nice big screen and nice qwerty keyboard. they are a bit pricey but are very useful.

, but some people want a laptop that they can fit in their pocket. I would also use a full fold up qwerty keyboard. The psp homebrew community made one that works, but I believe it actually uses infrared, rather than wifi.

    laptop ????

Laptop is huge for a gadgeteer; I suggested an EEEPC from ASUS. It's linux , 7"screen wifi and keyboard ,retail price in Thailand start from $ 250 usd . May be cheaper in USA .
