So "iPhone 4g" a publicity stunt? You decide.
I personally don't think so. Apple has always been known to be extremely secretive regarding their prototypes. Why else would it be disguised in a 3GS case?
The fact that the guy that "found" it in a bar saw it working and wrapped of in 3GS camoflage, then it got remotely wiped indicates to me that this is probably no stunt.
If they were going to do that then they wouldn't bother with the 3GS skin, they could easily produce a device that is made to throw us off the scent, and looks genuine. Then stand back and wait for the pics to flood the tech blogs.
In my opinion I think it is. You see those knockoff versions of iPhones that look 100% real on the outside, Apple logo and all. So it's possiable that somebody could have just made a case for the phone. I mean i don't see how somebody who has the privilages to test the 4g iPhone would be so dumb to really drop it. The 3g looking case for it was to make people think that apple was trying to "hide" it from us. So i guess well have to wait and see. I would have been more impressed if it was seen being used and not just a bricked picture. You would think if you lost the phone you would come back in like less than 10 mins or so and ask if somebody picked it up. Nobody came to get it back. So I don't know. I think it's a little to sketchy. Ha plus it's pretty ugly lookin.
Well he didn't get it wiped, Apple remotely wiped it because they realized that it was gone.
Apple wouldnt ask for it back if it wasnt real...
Could just be a fake email though. I mean unless apple says it to the public It could be fake too.
Trusted news stations have reported it to be true...
what else do you need
some people just refuse to believe things, even if there is undeniable proof. Let them live in their own little naive bubble.
I think that its is real, however i think Apple could have another trick up their sleeves....
