Have you not played FireRed and LeafGreen? It's the original, just re-vamped just like HeartGold and SoulSilver..
FireRed and LeafGreen. Anyway, Black and White look f***ing awesome. The new Pokémon designs leave something to be desired, but the new animated battles and the in-game "seasons" and the fact that you can have multiple save files are totally worth it.
Whoa, you can make more than one save file!? Even better! Are there any more significant changes coming up in Pokemon Black and White? (I'm hoping for more than three starter Pokemon in particular).
It seems as though since the second season, the quality of the new Pokemon has gone down. The first two seasons there was a lot of "holy crap that guy looks badass." Since then, the actual Pokemon (imo) have become less interesting but the diversity of the games and the addition of new moves have made up for it. Sadly, the new gen of Pokemon don't seem very appealing to me, yet the game itself looks very interesting. If they made every Pokemon have a "unique" move that only it could learn at between lvl 80-100, I would be a very happy man because it's always disappointed me that most Pokemon stop learning useful moves at around lvl 70. Perhaps only the highest natural evolution (excluding stones and trading etc) would learn this unique move, or maybe there would be a slight difference between the evolved forms (such as being more powerful or higher accuracy). I'll probably be getting White version, because the Pokemon on the cover looks cooler.
I guess its because anything that attacks our childhood looks like crap to us. Nostalgia and all... We remember the old games and don't wanna give anything else a chance because we don't wanna believe there are better times then our childhood, if you get me. We automatically see it as a threat. "Better then Pokemon *insert color from childhood*? NO WAY! That was the bomb" People who didn't see the old Pokemon games will like this game,a and then this will be there best. No doubt the old games were insanely good, change is also good. Plus there can only be so many good ideas. Pokemon has been going on for years. Still remember the 1st episode..
When Ash wakes up late and hurrys to professor Oak's lab but all the pokemon are gone. Then he get Pikachu instead!! Best episode evar.
Yeah man! And Geez don't get me started on the Pokemon Opening Song. I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was. To catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause... I will travel across the land, searching far and wide, Each Pokemon to understand, the power that's inside. Pokemon...gotta catch 'em all!!
The thing about this game is that you can only capture the new [Insert how many new pokemon here] pokemon before you beat the elite four. Makes a change.
I'm fed up of buying every pokemon game they roll out every year. Sure, I have a level 100 Shiny Mewtwo, but tbh I cba paying all my money anymore. I'm buying PSMove instead
