pokémon ingame save not working

    Hi
    So I tried trading with a friend through the VBA link thing and after I transferred the .sa2 file to my gpsphone folder and renamed it .sav. But now everytime I go on my save file through gpsphone and try it save it doesnt. It just show my character walking out of the pokécenter trade room and when i save it and play again it does the same thing. so any ideas?

    Have you changed the permissions of the save file in iFile/SSH?
    It must be 0777 or read, write, execute for all user groups.

    Navigate to the ROMs folder with iFile or something similar. Open up the properties of the .sav and .gba file and make sure that:

    The .gba file has:
    - Ownership
    root

    And that the .sav file has:
    - Ownership
    mobile

    Worked for my pokemon ruby and fire red.
